Christian Women’s Breakfast

Theme: Excuse me Lady, what are you waiting for?

Overview:

Women play a significant role in our societies today; whether it is in the family, political, or economic arenas.  It is essential that they are encouraged to step-out and step-up to be a part of the solution in Zimbabwe.  The aim of the meeting is to meet women where they are, e.g. single, divorced, entrepreneurs, professionals, or care givers and inspire them to be all that God has intended them to be.   Women need to be godly, confident, and assured that they can help make a difference for the Kingdom of God regardless of their background.

The Zimbabwean family has been distorted and we need women that are informed and courageous that can help unite and make a difference in various parts of the society.  Women need to be prepared and equipped on how they can answer the call to be a part of this significant change in Zimbabwe.

In this meeting, the aim is to ensure women feel safe and comfortable to share their stories and have real and authentic discussions.  Our speakers will share from their own life-experiences and offer godly ways of how they overcame their past and how God is using them.

Verses:

Proverbs 31:20 – She opens her arms to the poor and extends her hands to the needy.

Numbers 27: 1-11

1 Peter 5:10 – And the God of all grace, who called you to his eternal glory in Christ, after you have suffered a little while, will himself restore you and make you strong, firm and steadfast

1 Samuel 16: 7 – But the Lord said to Samuel, “Do not look on his appearance or on the height of his stature, because I have rejected him. For the Lord sees not as man sees: man looks on the outward appearance, but the Lord looks on the heart.

Quote: “It’s not your stature that determines how tall you can stand.”
